The Executioner's Song

Fantastic movie, the first half being more enjoyable than the second but great overall. Tommy Lee Jones puts in a beautiful skeezy performance, Eli Wallach is always a welcomed addition, probably the best performance of Rosanna Arquette's career, lots of great character actors pop in and out. Fun fact: The Nike slogan "Just do it!" was inspired by Gary Gilmore's last words "Let's do this. " So think on that the next time you're about to fake the funk on a nasty dunk. Do you think there's ever been a porn parody called The Sexecutioner's Dong? My money is on yes.
